Decorating Easter eggs with my mom is definitely one of my favourite childhood memories.
I loved the whole process, the magic of each dye, seeing how the colours turned out after waiting somewhat impatiently for the dye to take, and sometimes we’d drawn on the eggs with crayons before dipping them, creating a neat resist effect. The 90s were a good time.
Today we’re sharing something a step beyond the PAAS egg decorating kits of my childhood. These modern Easter eggs designs are tiny little works of art.
And maybe we don’t really want to keep these eggs around all year — they’d get a bit smelly after a while, but if you used wooden eggs or those paper ones you can get in a cute carton from the dollar store, you could bring them out each spring to decorate!
