I mentioned earlier this month that one of my goals for 2019 is to learn how to cook more Asian cuisine. I’ve been inspired by some of my favourite YouTubers, which leads into another thing I’ve been working on: learning to speak Japanese.
In this week’s episode of Flip Through Thursday, I’m going to show you two books that in my language-learning arsenal, in case you’re trying to learn a new language this year too.
Last week’s episode: Learn how to stop judging a wine bottle by its label.
With the 15-Minute series, you can actually record yourself speaking into the app to play it back. And with native language speakers pronouncing everything for you, you’ll quickly catch on to the correct inflection and nuances of the language.
While this series may not take you from zero to fluent in 12 weeks, you will absolutely be prepared to follow along basic conversations and visit the country of whatever language you’re learning with more confidence.
These books have great travel and food sections — my favourite, of course!
