Yesterday we were at a certain large bulk-buying type chain and the line up to checkout was SO long we actually abandoned our cart and hauled ass out of there.
I’m all for waiting in line, I’m not impatient in general, but poor line management + lines literally backed up to where you enter the building.
If we had come in and saw lines that long, I’m not sure we’d have made it past the entryway, but about 30 minutes into our wander around the store, the lines were bordering on ice-storm-prep length.
My partner and I looked at each other and said, “NOPE” and bailed out.
Have you ever done this?
PS. I’ll admit I’m still feeling a bit guilty about leaving the cart (even though we only had 3 items in it) in an aisle. I hate being that person. But yesterday, I was totally that person. Forgive me, human who had to clean up after me. You’re a saint.
