We can’t stop watching sealing wax videos on Instagram.

The first time I heard the phrase “sealing wax” was as a child, listening to Peter, Paul and Mary’s “Puff The Magic Dragon“. The lyric “and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff” totally confused my 6year-old self because I thought it meant “ceiling wax” and I had no idea what that was.

We can't stop watching sealing wax videos on Instagram.

Now, some 25ish years later, we’re still singing about sealing wax — the kind that comes on letters from Hogwarts and fancy Christmas cards. And omg it’s so satisfying to watch.

From watching the wax melt, to waiting for the seal to lift and reveal the final design, it’s safe to say these sealing wax videos fall nicely into the #satisfying category. Keep scrolling to see for yourself!
